And so on 初二, I went over to his place to 拜年!

Initial plan was to go over in the early afternoon around 12+ as his mother's side relatives are coming over. So his dad suggested that I pop by earlier so that I can talk to them as well. Like get to know them better?

But that morning I really felt very awful, like weak + symptoms of getting sick. Felt cold and my phlegm was already accumulating.

I knew that I was gonna fall sick but I thought I could keep it at a recoverable level.

Obviously, plan failed. :( Cause on Day 1 of CNY I just immersed in the fun and FOOD, I totally neglected my health, put it aside just so that I can enjoy myself!

I ate whatever I wanted, played exciting games with my cousins such as taboo. Shouted, screamed, laughed like no tomorrow. CNY is never awkward for me, cause I get to meet my close cousins, catch up, eat, joke, play.

And it's just so nice to gather and play together just like childhood times although now we're mostly grown ups and some even have their kids already.

Get to play with my cousin's kids too! Seeing new baby faces every other alternate years.

Ok so continuing about my Day 2 of CNY, I went over to Keith's place at around 3+ after congee lunch at home.

Was so lazy to take the train I decided to spend on cab. =/

Reached there and hurried my way up. So his relatives were already leaving and I didn't get to talk to them much. Just self-introduction and greetings.

Stayed on, watch some variety shows on 825 which was super hilarious!

And upon hearing my masculine voice, Keith's papa keep giving me different medicines and drink to relieve the pain and hopefully regain my original voice.

I was totally having nasal voice cause my whole nose and throat was clogged up with gooey gross phlegm!

I'm really very grateful for how much Keith's dad took care of me. Be it the medicine or advices. I'm really really thankful for that. =')

Even so, I tried some new year goodies which were very nice as recommended by the Mahs. ^^

Had nice home-cooked dinner and camwhored even more after dinner.

Hehe, I always feel so welcomed at his place. ^^

Time to sleep, enough of work for the day, need more rest to recover!

Painted it pastel purple! Wanted to try chocolate brown but mummy said I should go for brighter colours or at least pinkish cause it's gonna be CNY. But actually this colour is quite nice, makes my legs look fairer. ^^ And oh my still can see my tan lines. =S

Quite impressed with myself that I'm up already although I slept at around 2 last night and didn't even nap for the whole of yesterday. =X

I guess it's because my whole mind is filled with MFS-related stuff that I can't wait to roll it all out.

WM Part B Presentation tomorrow, great thanks to Liwei and Char for helping me with the slides, edited it last night before I went to bed.

And I'm so glad that we don't have to go to school today! Enables me to better spend my time on projects which are a priority now.

University applications are open now. Makes me think of my next level of education.

Facing up to reality, with my current GPA, I am barely gonna make it to a business school in 3 of the local unis. And I really do not want to disappoint my parents nor make them foot my expensive uni fees if I were to go into a private uni. But I'm really passionate about pursuing my route in finance/banking and I'm determined to go into this career path and I want to be an RM.

Asked senior char about the possibility of getting into biz school in NTU, she told me at least a 3.7 and she did it upon her first appeal. Waaa.. and this year's cut-off points must have increased again to at least a 3.8-3.9. Tell me how is that possible with my meagre GPA of 3.4.

Sigh, totally regretted for my year 2 sem 2 but I know I shouldn't be bringing up the past cause it won't change a fact but would only aggravate my current situation if I were to become too affected by it.

Can I just go for interviews and promise them that I'll work doubly hard in uni and prove that I can do it again,

Can I not be judged just based on my grades,

just because of 1 downfall,

I'm fighting for it now, I'm staying really focused and motivated to make the best outta any assignments that I've been given.

Please please.

Someone tell me what to do. Can I write this into a Dear Kelly column, just tell me what's the next step I should take and that I will go ahead with it.

Damn, letting all those emotions overwhelm me.

Ok back to doing work. Anyway, only manage to get a dress for CNY.

Daddy, you were really the one who raised me up when I was at the lowest and weakest point.

When I was crying, about to give up because I thought that no amount of medicine could cure me anymore,

no positive mindset nor attitude would help me get through this hurdle anymore,

you gave me your big and warm hand and held mine tightly assuring me that everything will be okay.

Mummy, although you were busy with work and taking care of your 3 little kids and cooking,

you still took care of me, made sure I had proper and adequate meals to keep my stomach filled just so that I can take my medicine and feel better and recover.

You cooked plain and healthy meals for me, and compromised with my light and bland diets.

You were the one who told me that I could approach you at any time in the night as long as I don't feel well.

You hugged me and assured me that I will be okay.

I was so weak to even scan in stuff for my project to be sent to Liwei and Char but you helped me when I requested for your help.

It's the 12th! And that marks our 11 months together!

Hehe, that may not seem SO long but it isn't short either.

Kinda looking forward to our 1 year anniversary celebration oh and cause we made it a point not to spend so much just to celebrate every month and decided to count the years together instead. ^^

And so I thought of sharing some pictures together before and during our relationship together.

During intern, we went back to Makan Place once for you mian and ee mian dinner cause we kinda miss school food.

During the term break, when I use to have so many cravings and Beard Papa was 1 of them. He brought me to FEP for good and filling noodles followed by satisfying my craving. ^^

Risk management is seriously a super sick subject. And I mean SUPER!

Easy to understand, but difficult to memorise cause it's all overlapping. But nevermind I'll still study hard for the CT.

Ok so as usual, Mavis put Milo on my bed and I thought it would be a good chance to snap some shots with him! HAHA. And she just took like so many pictures. Just take only.
I bathed for Milo yesterday and he still smells good and looks squeaky clean!
I always feel this sense of achievement if he looks white and fruffy and don't start licking or biting any part of his body be it his paws or his toot, cause it means that I've done a good job of washing him properly. ^^

OH and through the phone conversation mummy had with my cousin, I heard that Didi got into a fight with Boss and Didi was the victim because his canine tooth accidentally bit and pierced through his lip. WOUCH!
Must be super painful! Naughty Boss must be the one who started.

Really impressed with how Mavis obtain this score cause I can barely get through half a million. :(

Sometimes, I am just so amazed at how things can change so quickly within a blink of the eye.

When things seem to be so certain 1 moment, and the next moment, everything just collapse.

It's scary, it's unexpected yet unavoidable.

So it's always so true to not think too much about certain things because really, no one knows what will happen in the future.

But sometimes, especially at this age, there are so many uncertainties regarding the future.

No right, no wrong.

No one has a definite answer as to who they will walk together hand in hand towards their exchanging of marriage vows, who they will settle their family with, who is the one who will hold on the vows till death separates them.

I am treasuring what I have now, and every moment we share together. Keith.

Until 1 day, if we realise that we are not meant for each other anymore, or if we don't understand each other, or if we can't be together already, or we just part, I know I'll be going through a very rough time, trying to get use to my daily life without him. And after that phase, the flashbacks will still follow, and I'll still remember every single detail about you, about us, the dates, the places we love to go, the amount of distance we have to travel just to meet each other, the food that we love and dislike, the love songs that we use to make each other shy, the terms that we always use which can only be understood by the both of us. Everything.

I am not being negative about our relationship now but just being receptive of the negative side of a relationship.

Anyway, the whole night was filled with fun and laughter and I've really enjoyed the company.

Ok, seriously it's not like I expect better grades but I seriously don't know what she wants.

So what if I've prepared? She just change the game and everything's screwed already.

So because I felt that she was totally bored and someone who wants to get straight to the point, I just cut short my small talk part and got straight into business. And guess what, she said I talk too much. =_=

Ok I'm talking about my Data Gathering Assessment which I've just gone through in school just now.

And I must be SO lucky to have my data gathering call 1 week right after my interview.

And both the teachers have TOTALLY DIFFERENT personalities, and styles.

The teacher for interview require more talking from us whereas our own teacher wants us to read her like a book and react accordingly. ARGH! Why so seriousssssss! Damn sad seriously. :(

Feeling the exact same way as Char felt yesterday.

It's over, but this is so not gonna put me down. I'm gonna work harder for my solution selling for my last chance to ace this damn module!

Ok hi everyone! This is a new, fun webcam toy which my sis introduced to me. So I took 2 silly shots and that's it. HAHA. I know this pink one is kinda scary cause it's the first time I smile revealing the whole set of my teeth. =B

Have been rather short-tempered recently. Gotta remind myself to chill before I start to get emotionally overwhelmed and do stupid things without thinking rationally. =(

Hi good morning everyone! I've finally found the chance to blog, cause this week's e-learning week!!

Ok didn't thought/expect that this semester would turn out to be such a hectic one, and making me so busy and having very little time for myself.

Anyway, enough of all these whinnings.

I think I'll adjust my blogging style a bit to accommodate my super busy lifestyle for these few months.

These 2 pictures were taken last Sunday when we met up at Aunt's house for Hakka Kuehs!!

Played with the doggies, great catch-up session with couzies, ate as many kuehs as my stomach could take, played with baby Deonne.

And on Friday, we went to FEP and had some durian pancakes that liwei recommended! ^^

Economical yet nice. I had the cheese one because I don't really fancy durian and I think I regretted. The pancake was hot and the durian filling inside was cold and

Ok, so here comes our neoprint session which I have suggested since it has been sucha long time since we take neoprints and I believe we have never took it before together. Used to be a trend during our secondary school times.

LOL, liwei totally covered all her facial features. Cause the eye-detector only manage to detect her right eye. So her eyes were kinda improportionate, 1 big 1 small. =X And so is charmaine's.

I was frantically searching for this kinda skirts and finally found 1 that I really love at a reasonable price!

Saw the tinsel rack 1 but cause it was at the retail shop, it was sold at a price higher than the normal price, which made me kinda reluctant to purchase it. :(

Ok, so school has officially started..

I'm getting busy, myself, cause we told ourselves that no matter what our GPA is right now, we're gonna work real hard for the last semester, give it our best.

So these few days the weather is really unpredictable, it can get quite hot & sunny when I leave house and rain cats & dogs when I get out of school. =S

Makes it difficult to decide what to wear each day.

Can like get quite irritated if that day you decided to wear some warm clothings and it stop raining after awhile. ARGH!

Ok, so final year modules are really not VERY easy, but I guess I'll gain better understanding of each module after tutorial classes.

I really miss school, I do.

School always never fail to make me feel tired.

Took a 30-min power nap and am still feeling a lil bit tired now. HEE! But that means I'll have a good night's sleep tonight.

Jasper joined us for approx. 1 hour before he left for home. He has some shifting to do at home.

Sang till we laugh till I teared. Really miss hanging out with you guys.

So we had macs for dinner and as usual I didn't finish my food.

Always the case when I takeaway food to sing K.

From Rihanna to Usher to Westlife all the way to Linkin Park. You name it, we sang it.

Just me and char after 7.

And the most embarrassing thing was, the main recreational area was just outside our room.

And it was exceptionally crowded today probably due to some events.

There were a few groups of people playing pool.

And while me and Char were singing linkin park, or rather shouting our way through the song "numb",

from time to time, those pool players will look in with the "I'm so gonna burst out laughing but I give you face" face.

But we just couldn't care less and continue with our shouting sessions.

Woah, no one to steal the mic from us, 3 hours of K session, think I'm going voiceless soon.

But it was really all worth it, right Char? ;)

Holidays are coming to an end soon and I gotta make the last 2 weeks of my holidays as fulfilling as ever! ^^

Have been watching HK drama, Lives of Omission, 潛行狙擊 for the past week.

Woah, sometimes I really wonder how those script-writers and editors think of such amazing plots.

It's like unexpected, full of anticipation and leaves you crying in some touching scenes. A lil bit of here and there.

Went for K session with Calise, Alvin, Bella and her family at Katong.
After which, Calise invited us over to her place to visit and play with her doggies!
That's before she gives away 4 of the puppies.
Instead of playing with the pups, I decided to play with the Daddy & Mummy first because they look really very cute! ^^
Mummy is called Gigi and she really loves the belly rubbing and feels so comfortable that she squirms up to you and lick you.
Daddy is called Samsam and he really does have the father look! He's only 1 year old but he has got 6 children already! =O
Whereas my Milo is still a 8-year-old virgin. =(
I attempted to carry Samsam up but he was too heavy for me to do so.
It was very heart-warming to see them play together, drink milk together and even sleep together!
2 of the pups even hid under the sofa to sleep!
I can't really remember all their names cause some of them look similar!
All in all, thank you Calise so much for inviting us over and also the gifts that you got us from overseas.
Always not forgetting us..
We'll meet up again soon!

New timetable. Can't wait to go back to school. ^^

So, Char and I decided to hang out on a lazy Thursday afternoon.

With not many plans in mind, we decided to go for strictly pancakes.

I had the short stack while she had the apple w cinnamon.

I don't know why but after a couple of bites, it gets kind of sick to continue eating. I felt that it was due to the thickness of each pancake which makes it so gelat(rubbery, difficult to bite).

But otherwise, the earl grey tea is really nice and the accompany is even better. =)

We begin to update each other of what's going on around us, talked on all the way till around 3+ and decided to shop around town.

We wanted to get some back-to-school stuff but to not much avail.

Ok, char and I went around looking for my wedges while she was looking for her topshop top.

Woah, I'm really impressed with her being able to walk around with such high wedges. Really ZAI (Y)

Can't wait for K session with Char and Jasper next wednesday. Gonna be so fun fun fun fun~

Cranberry joy, Aqua Lily, Strawberry,

they're all from The Body Shop.

Seems like I'm some body shop fan but the similarity of origin of these products are all just a coincidence.

I really love the smell of the Aqua Lily one and was looking for a moisturiser so I just got it! And it comes in a set (of moisturiser, body soap and perfume). Got this from HK.

And cranberry joy and the strawberry set is given by mah mama. She's really really really very generous and nice. :')

Why should I give a damn about it when you don't even seem to care about how I feel and just judge accordingly to what your eyes see.

When you don't even talk to me like how we did openly, when you don't even ask, when you don't even clarify things with me, when you don't even bother understanding how things are like on my side.

I don't know why I still bother so much, cause when someone decides to dislike someone else, that someone else should just heck it and move on with life and not get stuck and paranoid over small matters like this.

Tell me how many times have I been played punk before about my results in poly. What a joke man seriously.
Someone who didn't use to be so concern about her results gets so paranoid over a slight drop in her GPA now. Why? Because I know that this is all gonna determine my future, whether I get a degree in a local uni, whether I can get a good job with
my qualifications.
Of course it's not everything but it's something you cannot miss. It's a stepping
stone. Without it, what's left of you?
Really I don't expect much, or rather I can't expect much for my last sen results already but I'll not work less harder or give up on myself.
And then just last night, I was told by the cab driver that there are more and more foreigners coming into our small lil red dot to compete with us. Sigh..
Maybe I should really go overseas to study/work. I should just get away from this already invaded and cramp country..
Cause so what if you get a degree from a renowned uni. It doesn't ensure you a job within 6 months. At least this is what the cab driver shared with me about his children.
Actually this is not the end Evelyn. I know there are still many ways and alternatives out for me. It's just whether I'm bold enough to be different from the rest and do something that's outta the norm and be an entrepreneur. Just like papa mama.

Brown on the top!

It really is very bright red, not as obvious in pictures but yes in real life, you'll be shocked.

And ok, so I dyed my hair red. Initially, I had so many doubts about it as red is quite a risky colour. If I were to dye bright red, I think I'll give others the wrong impression (that I'm an Ah Lian). If I were to dye a darker shade, it'll look more like brown and fade off even faster..

I was quite reluctant with brown cause I think it's too common and I just like red coloured hair more than brown. =S

Then I asked the hairstylist how's purple. She said that it will turn out too dark on my hair because its base colour is black.

And her suggestion to me was to try out a brighter colour as I can afford to do so given my age and status. That I'm still studying and won't be able to dye such a colour when I'm out working in future.
I agreed with her.

And ok, I pointed a darker brown eventually, but she mixed some red into it and my hair got really bright now. HAHA! Without washing..

But well well, I guess it's really good to go for a change once in a while. While I am still able to! ^^

Met up with Pris NPY this morning for KFC breakfast.

I would say that although the time spent was short, it was really well spent.

I really love the way she pour out everything to me whenever she sees me just like we're best of friends, no awkwardness, no warming-up needed.

And she even gave me a big hug upon seeing me cause I really haven't hug her for the longest time ever. =')

Heehee! Enjoying my favourite hotdog bun from Ikea. Daddy & Mummy went there for furniture shopping and bought some back for us. They know us the best and especially my liking for hotdogssss!

Saturday and Sunday were well spent.

Saturday for Brothers' Week which I though was filled with creative games and programmes. All thanks to Hannah! I guess the guys have really enjoyed themselves as it was more engaging although the whole duration of the programme was super long. And this year, I made a special appearance of Paris, but the much toned down version. ^^

Went for DBS Interns' BBQ at ECP on Sunday evening!!

Met up with Cynthia & Lianda earlier to get some items at Clementi before heading down to Bedok to collect our barbecue foodstuff.

My main contribution for the day was: An empty icebox. LOLOL!

We bought the drinks and ice at Bedok Sheng Shiong so that we won't have to carry such heavy loads all the way from the west.

It feels so much like a family feast because,

No. 1 Lianda bought and prepared a lot a lot of food. From seaweed chicken, to chicken wings, to prawns etc.

No. 2 Full attendance was not met as 2 of them had fever and were not able to make it for the BBQ.

No. 3 The proportion of guys to girls were 1:2, so lianda and youwei were practically forcing food down despite how full they were.

But I would say, I've really enjoyed myself and ate till my hearts content. ^^

Thank you very much seniors, for organizing and cooking for us.

I have also enjoyed sitting by the seaside, singing to familiar tunes with Calise. I would say, we make a good pair. ;)

Ok so everyone is finally back!

I am no longer feeling lonely or detached from this house. ^^

I couldn't join them for the short getaway trip to Phuket due to my rigid internship contract, which states that I can't take any leaves nor MC unless necessary. And I only have 1 precious day of polling day off-in-lieu. Took half day outta it already.

To make it up to me, 大姐 actually suggested that we go for K-singing the day before they depart for Thailand. And she was really very nice to treat the 2 of us. 两个小妹. Thank you!

Have been eating quite a lot these few days and I think my fatty plan is gonna work soon! =)

On Wed, I went over to the Mahs for KFC treat from Keith. 2 piece chicken each with popcorn chicken and mash potato! That calls for a fairmahlie feast!

On Thurs, I da bao-ed Kway Chap & White Carrot Cake for dinner. From Bukit Timah Market.

Then on Fri, I invited Keith over for steamboat! So many liaos and I'm impressed with my improved appetite. We ate all the way till around 10+. Crabsticks, mini sausages, vege, fish tofu, shrimp wonton, tau kee, prawns, sotong, super tender and soft chicken (I sliced them myself) etc. And I had sakae for lunch. Calise and I were eating so enthusiastically and I ordered practically all my favourite food!

Then Alvin created a term for me. NSCs. Cause he realise that I have got non-stop cravings every day for lunch! Even for teabreak after lunch. HEHE. ^^

But I really enjoy eating with them. Can take a break off work and at the same time satisfy my cravings, and talk about all the funny lil things which leave me and Calise laughing till our faces turn really red.

Really have to give thanks to God for all His arrangement. From day 1 of my intern till now, it has been a blessing.

From meeting lianda, a very good senior who taught my all that I need to know,

to meeting Jean, a very motherly supervisor,

to meeting Rudi, who brings me out for customer meetings which is really so much more exposure for my internship,

to meeting Rafeah, who is the Miss-Know-All who will take time out to listen to all my queries and doubts and give me proper advices and clarifications, small lil reminders to remind me not to breach banking secrecy despite her workload,

to meeting Calise who is so chatty and laughy which makes us a good pair and was named bimbo together with me by Alvin,

to meeting Jia Hui, who makes me wanna protect her from time to time when others bully her,

to meeting AlvinGoh who always give me wise words or advices that he've picked up from his past working experiences considering that he's a Uni Intern and lending me a helping hand whenever I need help,

to meeting NS2 peeps which makes my working environment all so lively and helping me along the way as I learn.

Honestly, I am more than happy to have landed in DBS for my internship.

But obviously not happy that I still have to write long reports for Mr Ben Tan. =(

And Shi Kai kept emphasizing on the point that I will lose my momentum when I return to school after internship. =[

Please no, it's my last semester I gotta buck up and work very hard to make it up for my grades.

It has been the rainy season and as usual, Milo gets very paranoid and afraid whenever he hears the thunder.

Was busy all the way from the minute I stepped into office till now. Minusing away 2 hours of lunch break, I have been working non-stop for 6 hours. =O

Had seaweed shaker fries + double cheeseburger for lunch with Calise just now. Had sudden craving and she's ok with it so we went for Macs lunch. Satisfying indeed! But I doubt I'll be eating shaker fries anytime soon. Can't keep eating something that's so unhealthy and full of MSG?

My hair seems to be losing its curls.

And I feel like cutting my hair short, like real short, even shorter than shoulder length.

But am not sure whether I'll suit it since my neck is long, I may look ugly in it. =S

Mummy said that I am really freaking clumsy until my hands are as good as my legs. I don't know how to better describe this but I guess it's better understood in Chinese.

Just went for facial last night and I feel so satisfied after the session because all my dirty clogged up pimples are being squeezed out and cleareddd! Although I've got big hideous pimple scar right now.. But it'll be gone in a matter of days. ^^

The pain was totally worth it. Wa really, although my eyes were covered with some cotton stuff, I could feel how forceful she was when attacking the BIG pimple! =O

Esther is an experienced aesthetician who has been in this line for >10 years! WOAH! Really, passion brings a person far.

However, since she's working from home, the trip to her place and back home is kinda inconvenient. Cause she lives in Yishun. And the thing is, I reached her place quite late, like around 8+ although my appointment is at 7:30pm. Left work later than usual cause it was lianda's last day and he had quite a lot of things to pass on to me. Good senior really.

Then, I met up with Mr Mah for aglio olio dinner before dropping by at her place.

That was the whole main reason why I was late.

And Yishun to me is really a very stranger place. Dropping me there is really like making me feel like a lost kid. =S

But by the time my facial session ended, it was really late and I thought it would be safer to take a cab back home. The ride home was really smooth, steady and safe all thanks to experienced uncle. ^^

But I would really recommend Esther to everyone who is interested in facial, cause not only is she experienced, she's meticulous and goes the extra mile for service. Relaxing music, nice tea, good massage after the facial. :)

I really, am dying to go shopping but my wardrobe is bursting and we're moving. :( HOW?!

I think I should spend less on food and more on clothes, accessories, shoes, bag etc.

I miss blogging here, in this space, and tend to neglect it so much whenever I get tired + lazy + busy.

Today's only Monday. Time passed quite quickly. And we're done with 2 months worth of internship. Another 4 months to go. 15 weeks to be exact.

And work is quite ok so far. Except the part where I meet up with psychopathic and weird strangers who approached me for the totally wrong reason.

Have been going around to meet clients, and I realise I have been going to amk area. Brings back certain memories there..

Lianda is leaving next week, I'll be so lost and insecure. I'm so used to asking him about almost everything that I'm uncertain of during work. He is as good as my 师父, he can be my consultant.

Oh and we were like comparing how unlucky we are this month. For him, it involves bubble milk tea and for me, it involves meeting up with weird strangers. =S

I really really think that we should get him the bubble tea instead of him getting it himself.

Easter Sunday! God has risen and because he lives, it gives us the hope of eternal life. :)

Sunday was well spent with the Mahs once again.

Went to Ikea for meatballs lunch followed by a little shopping but we didn't really get anything.

Keith thought of daddy and got him a hotdog bun and coffee. The coffee smelt soooo nice I could smell it for the whole bus trip from queensway to weeshan.

Spent a lovely afternoon talking to Uncle about our new flats. The valuation, floor plan, renovation plans, etc, while he sips his aromatic coffee away.

He must have been so happy that Keith thought of him and got him Ikea's coffee. ^^

Took a short nap and had a heart to heart talk before dinner. Watched an episode of 1 piece with Keith as well. He made me join him for watching anime. Not bad, quite nice. ^^

Daddy Mah cooked fried rice which was so nice but he was so humble that he keep asking me to try it at my own risk. HAHA!

Lazed on the sofa watching Junior Masterchef and was about to doze off, when Mah papa jokingly said: "Aiya, stay overnight la." =O

It always feels so warm and lovely at the Mahs.

Cabbed home after that feeling all so tired and feeling the Monday bruesssssss.

Crapppp, I think I shall pause here first and post this up before this becomes a draft. I'm starting to feel tired. =X

AWW my butt and legs hurt like mad from all the walking in heels.

And yesterday I tried something adventurous by taking a direct bus all the way to work and I would say that it is a very nice try. (Y)

It took me approx. 1 hour ++ and I still had to walk quite a distance before reaching my office. However, I've really enjoyed that long bus ride because I got to see many nice residential area in Singapore. Near to CBD area that is, and is yet homely. Woahhh I'm starting to regret for being so reluctant to Mummy and Daddy's idea to live in Queenstown. =S

And and and, mummy says that we're moving next month. May <3

Had Meatball Marinara at Subway yesterday with Cynthia, Calise and Lianda and it was soooo awesome! ;)

I finally understood why Da Jie like to eat it so badly! And the thing is, it it super filling which will last me for the day!

I think I got half of my pay, that is from 14th of March to the end of March. It's time to diversify my $$ before it gets spend off.

And I really feel like buying so many things. Feel like trying coloured contact lens from Acuvue. The 1 day one.

Won't know how I will look like but I guess it's fun to try. ^^

Nothing beats a good breakfast to start the day right! Like right now, I'm eating the cheese croissant bought from the bakery at OG which is plainly sweet yet fragrant. ^^

Every day is a learning journey. I'm so glad that I will be given more exposure outside my job scope but probably not for a very good reason.

Come May, Lian da would have left and my supervisor would be on leave for 1 week or more. And that's left with me and my RM and so I may be assigned to assist him.

I have got 1 month to learn and try to familiarise with the job. JYJY EVELYN!!

And I have realised the importance of FRP and FIT now.

I really really want an elmo tumbler. It will be sooo cute!

I'm so hyped up for today cause DBS just implemented the new working hours which are shorter than the usual 8:30-6:15 hours.

I realise I haven't been updating this space for quite some time cause I am always so tired when I return home from work.. And I am able to update my blog now since this site is not blocked. PHEW~

Soooooo, warning, this post won't be short.

ARGH! I am so forgetful and I've forgot to bring my handphone today. =S How stewpid really.

Finally met up with Mich yesterday and it feels all so good to be able to meet up and catch up with each other's lives for almost the whole evening, at least until 10?

Left Clementi at around 10. We explored the new mall at Clementi and realise that it was big and it reminded her of a Malaysia's malls which are normally big with lots and lots of shops.

Not bad I feel, the shops that are already opened are quite "shopable" to me and not just another neighbourhood mall with loads of eateries but nothing to shop for.

And the thing is, on top of the mall, there are apartments! So, I was telling michelle how much I'd wish to live there. So near to city area and a nice place to board the train. Unlike bukit batok or je. =X Always so jam packed in the morning and almost impossible to get onto the train.

I was wondering how worse the situation would be when school reopens for poly. Gotta squeeze with poly students as well. =S

And so, we decided to have macdonalds nuggets and we picked a cosy corner at the 2 levels macdonalds.

And ok I typed this yesterday while I was at work.
To add on, I've really enjoyed myself and I always have when I'm out with BFF michelle. ^^

Yet another meet-up Tuesday with Mr Mah!
Tried Aglio Olio at Temasek Towers today, due to special request.
The dinner set for 2 was kind of worthwhile and nice. And 1 thing I was really impressed with was the service received by the waitress. Probably due to the non-peak period. Where the CBD area becomes ghost town after 6pm.
Really enjoy sitting down together, talking about our day at work, eating at our comfortable pace, making each other shy & tomato red, laughing at little silly things, engaging in in-depth conversations. Really love all the small things we do together.

And so, yesterday I went studying with Keith at Woodlands library. ^^

As usual, it was meant to be conducive, conducive for him at least since he finished quite a number of chapters.

While I only managed to finish 1 chapter of Investment and go through the CFAS paper. To realise that I have not finished all the chapters and still have 2 more chapters to go. YIPPEE!

And then, as usual we were craving for our pastamania which we had the last time when we went there to study.

BUTTT! To our utter disappointment, CWP was under renovation and many shops were closed. =(

Super saddd. Our main motivation of studying is not there!

And so we were contemplating on where to go for dinner. Weeshan or CCK.

HAHA! And I guess I won cause I managed to persuade him to go to CCK with me.

Wasn't very sure if there is pastamania at Lot 1 but still went ahead with it cause we wouldn't mind eating at NYNY.

And then, before we step into the mall, we looked at the directory and realised that WOO! THERE'S PASTAMANIA!

It's just our craving really. Not that we find the food there super nice or anything.

Then, as hungry and desperate ever, we went there and food came quick. ^^

Anyway, I think I should really go back to studying. It's just a few more days and all these will enddd!

Titus shared with me Psalms 84 after I told him what happened for the past week, the eventful one.

And I thought that it was really applicable to me, and what I have learnt from this chapter was that no matter how others see/judge you, how they have wronged you but justice isn't shown, as long as you know that your conscience is clear right before God and what you've done is in favour of Him, that's all that matters because

¹⁰ Better is one day in your courts

than a thousand elsewhere;

I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God

than dwell in the tents of the wicked.

After going through this, I really felt very much 安慰.

Then Weng Rong shared that he would pray and then make his steps because he knows that after he prays, every thing that is gonna happen after that is allowed by God and if its allowed, however it may be, he will find the light at the end of the tunnel. No matter how much difficulties, how long it is gonna take, He will be there for us.

Really, this thing has hit me real hard.

I'm starting to have doubts about my relationships with anyone.

Yipee ya yayyyyy! I'm done and over with my e-port presentation and I was the 3rd one. And I feel like partying rightaway I don't know why. I'm in class now and I just loot mavis' itouchyyy to use for a day. Revision lecture later followed by project meeting for cfas. Last project to go before studying full-time for the exams. I've learnt to forgive and forget to be a happier person, really. Someone once told me "Life is too short to bear grudges." A smile is definitely much better on the soul than pulling a long face. I was thinking, even if I were given more than 24 hours in life, will I be able to spend more quality time with everyone who is important in my life. Every moment in life is precious, live life like never before and make the best outta it. Fulfilling! Sorry for the whole chunk of text. I can't find a way to paragraph this. Retail therapy + Catching up session with BFF yesterday in town.

Went to flea @ Scape and FEP.

WOOOO~ The crowd was crazy but necessary for the festive atmosphere.

Bought 2 tops, 1 bottom. 2 dresses and a pair of blue earrings. I could have gotten more if I were less indecisive. But anyway, to sum it up, I've really enjoyed myself and I was really happy to be able to meet up with Michelle again, talk like no tomorrow and shop togetherrrrr!

I was so tempted to get a pair of heels as well to go with my dress for 初一, however I was more interested in shopping for clothes which greatly shortened my time of shopping for shoes.

And we met up in the evening. Which was after my hair treatment at Burlington with mummy.

Still, I didn't get my hair dyed. And I realise my hair gets so dry after drying it with a hairdryer. =X

However, it just smells so niceee after the wash, steam and blow. And definitely much more natural now as compared to the past 2 weeks. HAPPY HAPPY!

And all ready to go 拜年！

Mummy says we'll go 拜年 only on 初一 and then go for an outing on 初二, and movies on 初三.

Definitely something to look forward to next week!

And I would say that I am someone who prefers to be more organised (because I can only do things well this way) and this fact is proven because I can't do without a planner every year.

I've written down my plans on how to study and the schedule for studying already. WOOT WOOT! Feeling good about it. I'm really determined to work hard for this final exams. =)

Let's talk about kids now.

I really enjoy working in Kumon cause it gives me opportunities to interact with students and spur them on to learn the independent way.

And it's really good if you enjoy working because you won't feel that you are working just for the sake of the pay but it's more of what you like to do.

And I've been observing how brothers and sisters behave in class.

I think the best award goes to the Loo brother & sister.

They enjoy bickering and teasing each other. Although sometimes the word that comes out from Qiao Feng's mouth is nasty, he actually meant well. And can you believe it? He nags at his sister. =XX

And it's quite funny to see how the both of them communicate.

And today, during Sunday School, as usual, Wei En has the tendency to want to stick to a teacher.

And I will always try my best to be there for her.

So today, after class, she requested me to carry+huggy her.

And so I did. Then, I tried my best to make her feel comfortable, rocked a little bit from side to side, and soon her eyes were closed. She fell asleep after adjusting her head on my shoulder. For that moment, I really meltsxzzzz. This feeling is indescribable and so far, from what I know, Keith is able to feel the same way about such occurrences as well. =']

Going on intern real soon.

Moving house again soon. Settling down this time.

Why must everything fall apart at this juncture when I don't even have the strength to fight?

When I can't even get well enough to start doing work.

Tears, they are only a way of expression.

I really wish I could do more for everyone and be a pillar of strength rather than an obstacle block.

But just now, even as I look into Milo's beady eyes, I could feel tears collecting at the brim of my eyes.

Things get very different, when you view it from different points of view.

Instead of complaining how much time is taken away from work, why not say that the time not spent on working can be better treasured and spent for my other commitments?

Instead of concluding a person is stupid, why not think of the opportunities to teach him/her from scratch and make them a better educated person?

I bathed for Milo today. As usual, he was so reluctant he was struggling to get out most of the time.
But still, I feel happy that I've done something for the family. =)
Did most of my tutorials. And I mean those that are do-able. The rest, just skip first.
What's more important now are projects that have to be worked on. Tomorrow's gonna be a long school day while today is a non-school day. Staying back after school to figure out the financial ratios together. Char mee my love! ♥

SEXY BLUEEE~! I really like this shade of blue. So special and it looks even better in real life! Most importantly, it makes my legs look fairer.

SUPER CUTE RIGHT?? It makes me smile the moment I see it. But my smile can't be compared to hers. Since hers is sooo wide! And I decided to put it by my window side to make it glow in the sunlight and look even more cheerful! ^^

A thin folder with plenty of cute cat faces! A gift from Mr Yang. So cute as well I think I'll smile when I look at these faces. Especially the one in the middle.

I was sooo tired and deprived of sleep last night that I fell asleep right in front of my laptop and woke up at 2+ am to realise that I dozed off while using my lappy.

I think I haven't been getting enough afternoon naps and that explains why I get tired so easily these days.

It's time to start working.

A checklist for myself:

It's getting really chilly tonight.

My nose is getting irritated and runny.

My contact lenses seem to have some dirt on it which is irritating my already tired eyes too.

Intern coming up in a few months time. I know this sounds wrong but I am kinda excited about it!

Let's hope that no matter what happens, I'll be able to hang onto it for 6 months! Perseverance is the key! ^^

Oh, and yes, the weather is getting really cold that Milo shivers from time to time. Especially with his fur cut. And whenever he does that, I really feel like cuddling him right away and give him warmth.

But Mavis put on a shirt for him which once belonged to her. HAHA! Looks kinda oversize yet cute on him though.

MERRY CHRISTMAS! AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR IN 6 DAYS TIME!!

Was wondering, how was your Christmas eve spent? Or rather, how are you intending to celebrate Christmas?

Some do not have the habit of celebrating it, but to me, Christmas holds a very special meaning.

Because it signifies the birth of Jesus Christ. His arrival to this world with a mission to complete. To save the world. The Prince of Peace.

My Christmas Eve was spent with Keith. =)

Just hanging out together, spending time with each other. After not seeing each other for around 1 week. =X

So basically, we exchanged small gifts. Actually mine wasn't really a gift, it was just a souvenir from Taiwan. The moment I chance upon it, it makes me think of him instantly and so I thought that I should get it for him. But hope that you'll like it. And don't be too touched. HAHA!

While he got me a unique bangle which is something that I don't have in my collection.

So I would like to say thank you very much. =)

And I would say we were very lucky yesterday.

Because we wanted to catch Gulliver's Travel but there were no good seats anymore.

And so, we walked away from the counter in disappointment.

I think our disappointment was written all over our faces. LOL LIKE SOME PRIMARY SCHOOL COMPO!

Then this good guy came up to us and asked, "Would you guys like to have a pair of tickets?" Then, it startled me a little from my dampened mood. So Keith asked "Err, may I know what movie that is?". He replied "Tron, 3D." Initially I was a little bit reluctant cause it was in 3D. Then Keith asked "Do we have to pay for it?" Good guy replied "Erm it's ok because we did online booking and we booked extra tickets." Then Keith said "Oh thank you! And Merry Christmas!" TEEHEE!

And the show was quite good I thought. Lucky us. And what a nice Christmas gift.

Engaging heart to heart talks are so nice. Thanks for being such a good listener. =)

Another thing that I would like to highlight, another nice Christmas gift that I received yesterday, is that my intern will be shifted to 1st sem of 3rd year and I've gotten my first choice, together with my BFF, Char!!

We were so excited on the phone yesterday while she break the good news to me!

So much so that her phone went out of battery. HAHA!

But it was really double the joy when shared together! WEEEE~!

I love you baby!

And I miss hanging out with you so badly! Good times, bad times, we're always together. ^^

And at times, only you will understand the reason why I'm laughing and laugh together with me. This is something which I really like about us. <3

HELLOOOO PEOPLE! I'M BACK IN SINGAPOREEEEEE!

Oh my goodness but I don't feel as good because I feel as though I've got a million and 1 things to do.

And what's more, Christmas is coming up in 2 days time.Christmas Eve is just tomorrow.

I should be feeling hot right now in SG, but don't know why I'm feeling coldddd.

I think I'm gonna get sick soon. I feel so giddy right now after waking up at 8:30am. And I seldom experience jet lag so I don't know what's wrong with my body.

Stomach keep growling too.

I'm still feeling tired but still have to unpack stuff.

Taiwan was an extraordinary experience!

My first time in Taiwan was FUN!

Did a variety of things there, be it shopping, eating or visiting historical sites.

It is winter season now so all the clothes sold were unsuitable for me but I still got some nice oness! Including the one that Daddy got for me. He is developing better taste for ladies' clothes. ^^

The locals there are very nice and friendly. The girls especially speak in this super act cute voice which is normal to them, I guess?

The things sold there are relatively expensive. So I had to be selective and picky when buying things. But time was another factor. The itinery was fully packed. No time to be indecisive. If I really like an item, just get and go. If not, BYEBYE! HAHA!

The first and last day were exceptionally cold and we were under dressed. =X

And so I hugged myself to keep warm. LOL!

Got to know more about some of my tour group mates who lives in amk.

And 1 of them love KOI so much she keep looking for the shop in TW.

She told me that it was much cheaper and nicer there too. At least better than the one in amk. =X

I drink bubble milk tea almost every single day there. But from different stores. Some were very nice, some were so-so.

I didn't really take proper meals there because we were always on the move looking for 小吃s.

And my uncle dared all of us to eat 臭豆腐, but I didn't have the courage to try it so I told a white lie just to get away with it.

Mavis received her posting results yesterday and she got into St Mags. WOOHOO~! All the more we're gonna move to Queenstown. Nearer to my workplace? Nearer to city?

What's with old people and menopause? Everyone got so grumpy all thanks to it.

Try talking to a person who is as stubborn as a stone, you'll regret trying because at the end of the day, you'll feel more pissed.

Why must everyone else change to adapt to your attitude and not you? Forever asking people to compromise you but have you ever try standing on someone else's perspective?

Ignorance is really bliss. I wanna grow older, finish my studies, get a stable career and get married.

I think my Chinese communication skills improved. At least I can ask a proper question without any english or hokkien words in it. TEEHEE! ^^
